We endeavour to ensure that Southport Masjid remains a pure place of worship dedicated to the worship of Allah and betterment of the Ummah. We pray that nobody enters except that they feel at peace and go away after having connected with Allah recharged and ready to perform their role as a khalifah.
At our institution, we use an Islamic based curriculum that is suitable for children aged between 5 and 16 years old.
The following document is a proposed text for whosoever wishes to deliver the Eid khutbah within their respective groups. Given that Eid is a highly significant and enjoyable occasion, it is our hope that we celebrate it by continuing spiritual reflection and enjoyment of the blessed month of Ramadan that has passed. May Allah grant us the taqwa sought from Ramadan that remains with us.
On behalf of the Southport Masjid and community, we express our gratitude to all of you for your patience and understanding concerning the extended closure of the Masjid and your compliance with the government issued guidelines. As restrictions are set to ease, there is hope that our lives will also return to a measure of normalcy and we can resume activities in the Masjid. Little would please us more than to be with you all again in the House of Allah.
